Brett Barnes

Jonathon Walker, PA-C

Jonathan is an integral part of Dr. Sterett’s team.  You may be seeing him initially in the office prior to seeing Dr. Sterett, but Jonathan will most certainly see you in the Operating Room, where he assists Dr. Sterett with all of his surgeries.  Having a wife and three young children and enjoying staying active with soccer, softball, skiing, and hiking, Jonathan appreciates the importance of getting you back to the activities and lifestyle that you love.

Jonathan earned his master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Augusta University in Augusta, GA.  He has worked for over two years in varying Orthopedic settings, including sports medicine, total joints and spine surgery.   He and his family have lived in the Vail Valley for just over a year and are enjoying everything that mountain living has to offe


Ryan Molzon

Ryan Molzon, MS, ATC-C, OTC

Ryan is originally from Howell, New Jersey and earned a B.A. in Athletic Training from Rowan University.  He then traveled to the University of Hawaii at Manoa to earn a Master's degree in Advanced Athletic Training. There he taught undergraduate courses in the Kinesiology department, worked as a high school Athletic Trainer, and performed research investigating gait mechanics on total hip replacement patients.   Ryan then completed a one year Athletic Training Fellowship with the Steadman Clinic in Vail working both in the Clinical and high school settings.  During that same year he also provided medical coverage for the US Ski team and Dew tour.
Ryan is a Cetified Member of the National Athletic Trainers Asociation , a Certified Orthopaedic Technologist and DORA Registered Surgical Assistant.

He joined Dr. Sterett’s team at Vail Summit Orthopaedics in January 2014 as a Physician Extender.  His primary duties in the clinic include obtaining patient histories, performing physical exams, and presenting the patient to Dr. Sterett.  He provides pertinent patient education about non-operative versus surgical treatments for various upper and lower extremity pathologies.  He also serves as a First Assistant to Dr. Sterett in the Operating Room.

Bryan Diekmann

Christina Bourbeau, MS, ATC, OTC

Christina works as a Certified Athletic Trainer for Dr. Sterett. She grew up in
Manchester, New Hampshire and studied at Keene State College where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. After undergraduate studies, Christina became a graduate assistant at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa where she worked as the Head Athletic Trainer for the UH Army ROTC cadets and simultaneously taught undergraduate Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Science courses. Christina earned her Master's of Science degree in Advanced Athletic Training. Her Master's thesis consisted of a biomechanical study of lower extremity overuse injuries with regard to running gait among Army cadets. She then relocated to Southern California and worked as an athletic trainer for Soka University and Impact Rehabilitation Center before accepting and Athletic Training Fellowship position at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, CO. During her fellowship, she obtained her Surgical Assistant and Orthopaedic Technologist certifications. This allows her to work alongside Dr. Sterett in the operating room and to streamline patient care in the clinic.

Christina has traveled throughout Europe with the US Ski and US Snowboard Teams to provide medical coverage. She enjoys working local sporting events such as Dew Tour, Ragnar races, and the Trans Rockies Race. Christina competed on the Keene State Owl's track team throughout college and she still holds the college record in the pole vault. Her favorite activities are skiing/snowboarding, hiking with her dog, painting, surfing, and scuba diving. Shehas been working alongside Dr. Sterett and his team since January 2017.
